    • Compensate for windy conditions, wind turbulence from big rigs, and weight shifts from cornering
    • Lift your truck when you are carrying a heavy load and prevent bottoming out
  • Adjust automatically to your payload
    • Rollers on each end of the SuperSprings activate when the OEM springs flex under load
    • Rollers deactivate when OEM springs aren't under load

  • Install easily - bolt on above your existing factory springs with no drilling required

SuperSprings diagram of roller and shackle system for extra leaf spring

These additional leaf springs add support and sway control to your existing OEM suspension. Just bolt on SuperSprings over your existing factory springs, and they automatically work when you need them. As the factory spring flexes, a roller at each end of the beefy helper spring reacts to engage the helper spring and to provide extra support. The springs help to better distribute cargo weight throughout your existing suspension, channeling that weight to the points on the frame that are designed to support heavy loads.

SuperSprings leaf spring installed on a vehicle

Placing these leaf springs above your factory springs helps to keep your OEM springs from twisting, so the SuperSprings act like a sway bar, reducing the body roll that makes driving more difficult and dangerous. With these helper springs, driving is safer and easier when it's windy, when your vehicle is rocked by a passing semi, and when you are cornering. The springs help to reduce sway by up to 30 percent. SuperSprings also allow more wheel travel in the rear suspension when they are under load, so they maintain traction and ride comfort better than rubber or polyurethane bumpers. That means they're great for drivers who frequently tow.

Truck before SuperSpringsTruck after SuperSprings

You can also customize the level of support provided by SuperSprings. For most models, the shackles that attach the helper leaf springs to your existing leaf springs have several installation options:

  • For greater support and ride height when your suspension is under a constant load or if you have an older automobile with some spring fatigue, install the helper springs using the upper bolt holes
  • To maintain the factory ride and reduce the effect on your ride height, install using the lower bolt holes
  • To balance support, height, and ride comfort, install using the upper hole on one end and the lower hole on the other

SuperSprings are a maintenance-free, low-cost alternative to air spring systems, which require constant monitoring and air pressure adjustment. These helper leaf springs respond automatically to the load you carry, so there is no crawling under your truck to adjust them. You'll also reduce wear and tear on your suspension, brakes, and tires, which saves you money. The bolt-on installation means that they are easy to fit - no drilling required.

These springs improved the ride considerably , less roll on corners with the slide in camper on and wheel hop on rough roads . In general the handling was much improved.

by:
2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

Had a pro install them to the center hole like Manufacturer suggest, rides a little firmer which I like not sloppy, Have not towed yet but looking forward to it! Great products and fast shipping.

2014 Nissan Leaf

After having used partial and full ‘add-a-leaf’ kits on fleet trucks in the past, I was willing to give these a try.
Having missed the stiffness of a 2500 rear end and having put 125k on a 1500 with a topper/camper shell, this was the progressive stiffness I was looking for.
The vehicle sits 1.5” higher at the rear, isn’t overly stiff, alowing the Bilstein shocks to continue to do their job, properly. Adding the tow behind camper, along with a loaded bed, far less body sway without a compromised ride.
I also utilized the SumoShocks (front and rear), for some time and I love them. Having everything together, as a package, works great for me when towing, the bed is loaded down and when I’m traveling 2hrs at a time from place to place, as a highway truck.
This will take some serious C clamps (8” from hardware store) and some mechanical aptitude if using a jack and stand(s) in the garage. Overall, not too strenuous or hard. Nothing intimidating.
I’d definitely recomend to anyone wanting to help tired leaf springs or when reducing body roll.

The Sumo Springs continue to provide wonderful results. Many friends with 2500 trucks and onlookers at campgrounds are amazed when we tow our 38’ trailer weighing around 8k lbs when loaded, plus the truck bed loaded with wood and bikes, etc, the family and dog in the cab... All with little to no squat! The ride stays consistent to the 2500 feel I like and it allows me to keep my ol’ beater with high miles and a few thousand miles. I definitely recommend the Sumo Springs and their products. Again, having had their products on other vehicles with more than happy results, I don’t foresee ever purchasing a vehicle and not, at the least, including the rear bump stop supports and adding the leaf kit from there.

The spring system itself is a great product, but I’m using these on a 2021 F-150. In 2021 ford went to a mono spring design that has less arch in its resting state. I called superspring prior to ordering to verify this was the correct product and was told this was the one. After installation the springs walked all over the place under normal driving conditions and had to be constantly removed and re-situated. I’ve since had to use industrial glue to attach the spring to the rubber block that it rests on and that has solved the movement issue but in my opinion this is something that should not need to be done if the product was actually made for my vehicle. however, from a functionality standpoint they work well once they are actually held in place.

Just put on super springs 2019 f150 for towing a camper that is awful in wind. The installation was easy. Hoping the springs help with a stable ride. I will update when I get the camper out of storage.

Fast delivery. Ease of ordering.

by:
2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

The system works great in keeping sway under control. Big trucks do not move my rig hardly at all. The ride is hard. My wife feels very little bump. She has a bad back. I love the system.

The springs worked great, reduced sway and gave better wheel control

by:

2019 Silverado Trail Boss

Easy Installation
and definitely helps with sag when loaded, however, can be noisy on bumps and turns when unloaded due to its "floating" design. it also raised the rear end of the truck by another inch or so.

If I had to do it over again I would probably go a different route

by:
2017 GMC Sierra

I installed the springs in conjunction with the SumoSprings on my 2017 Sierra 1500 4X4. I took the wheels off and start to finish was less than an hour and a half. Very well thought out design and easy to install. The initial setting raised the back end 1.75" and was not quite stiff enough so I moved the front bolt up to the top hole, this gave me 2-1/4" lift at the wheel wells. It took the weight off the overload springs that was always loaded before. With the camper (8000 lbs) and distribution hitch the truck was barely on the overloads with the SuperSprings and then the SumoSprings kicked in as well. Between the two upgrades we towed 900 miles after the install and handling and body roll were drastically improved. USA made product that is well designed and made. Would definitely recommend either the SuperSprings or the SumoSprings as a must have upgrade if you tow a lot with a lighter suspension vehicle.

by:

Easy to install and doesn't affect the ride. Hoping to tow my camper level now instead of nose up.

by:
2017 Ford F-150

It a good product for 2017 Ford f150 except 1 factor that it had to mounted more toward the rear and the no bracket to hold it in place if I get a tire rotation or lift the vehicle from the rear the spring roll away and need to clamped while lowering the vehicle. I contacted Super directly to there warranty department and they sent me a lock down kit. It also Lifted the truck about a inch on low setting so I'm sitting at 39 inch in rear.

by:
2013 Ford F-150

I installed these on my 2013 F150 they fit great lifted the truck about 1inch but did not affect the ride. When I pull my 8X17 fish house the truck sits nice and level now. Other sites recommended the install kit which is not needed on this vehicle. E trailers was great to order from. Shipping was a week early.

Still stand by this product, all of my future trucks will have super springs. Still a nice ride and no noise.

by:

Great service received in 2 days!

by:

Put them on a 2010 f-150 and when I put a load on the truck the super springs hit the frame. Worst money that I have ever spent

by:
2018 Chevrolet Silverado

I purchased super springs for my 2018 Silverado 1500. It raised the rear about 2 inches. Attaching my 1/2 ton lite fifth wheel dropped the truck back to level. After a roundtrip from NC to MA, I found the decision to purchase the super springs was the right choice. With 18 wheelers passing by me I experienced no sway. Best of all, no maintenance is required for this addition. When towing my 5th wheel w/o the springs, I experienced a little sway and bobbing and the front of my truck was noticeably higher.

by:

Took me about hour to put on. I removed the wheels, I think it was Easier
with the wheels off.

by:

It does what it's supposed to do for a cheap price.I got rid of them and put on air bags......night and day difference, bags cost more but in this case you get what you pay for.

Air bags are often easier to adjust and is better for rear sag. The Air Bags I would recommend for your 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with Internal Jounce Bumpers - Rear Axle Part # AL88288. You can use the Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System for Air Helper Springs - Remote - Bluetooth - EZ Mount Part # AL74000EZ for a wireless control of your air bags.

by:

I usually never give a five star rating, however these were very easy to install, and have increased the spring load capability. I have found that the truck does not sag as much as before and the ride is better when pulling the camping trailer. would strongly recommend if you do not want air bags.

by:

Both the Drawtite hitch and the super springs went in fairly trouble free. I don't follow directions. there is a better method to install the hitch. Lift the front of the bed up four or five inches. Then preassemble the hitch and slide it over the frame. Center in the predrilled holes and tighten the bolts.

After trying leaf spring helpers and switching them out for super springs what a night and day difference. They've held up great! Made a huge Improvement

by:
2005 Ford F-150

Part arrived and looked great. Very easy to install.
Only two things that can be fixed is that the springs only go on one way and they are not marked front/rear, and its not real clear how the the rubber spacer is used.
I installed these on a 2005 ford F-150 Supercrew and I pull a 30 foot travel trailer.
I have installed air bags to level the truck/trailer, but at 50psi the kids in the back seat got beat up due to the poor ride. I'm hoping these springs will level the truck/trailer and give us a better ride.
We going up north this weekend and I hope i can re-post how the trip went.

by:

Does exactly as advertised but it is noisy at times when braking or accelerating. When I buy a new truck I will be putting a set of super springs on it.

by:
2015 Ford Ranger

This is the 3rd set of supersprings I have purchased. I am completely satisfied with each set. I have a set on a 30 foot class C motor home and it solved a swaying problem plus giving a better ride. I had a set on a F 150 that I sold, so when I got a new pickup I needed another set. The supersprings completely solve any towing and hauling issues. I have a Ranger pickup that I tow behind the motor home and haul a motorcycle in it. The motorcycle makes the little pickup sag so I will be ordering a set of super springs for it.

by:

Very easy install , used this product on previous vehicles and they do the job. etrailer is an excellent company to deal with!

2018 GMC Sierra 1500

The product looks good and it set the rear end of our truck up a little. My wife and my friend sat on the tailgate to give us an idea what kind of ride we might get and the body sat down just a little with that weight. The instructions could definitely be a little better due to that we looked on [line] for more information. Can't wait til I pull the 7500 lb trailer next week to see the ride and if it took the sway out. Best I can do so far. Will add photos when I test this out and two of my friends want to know how this does.

  • Will the SuperSprings Custom Suspension Stabilizer Kit for a 2019 Ford F-150 Lift the Rear
The SuperSprings Custom Suspension Stabilizer and Sway Control Kit part # SSA28 which is a fit for a 2019 Ford F-150 will help reduce sway while towing and it will also raise the unloaded ride height. This would be a great addition for towing but I must also say that if the truck and trailer are not level, you should be looking into another ball mount with more rise/drop for your application. I have attached a help article on this to review.

The reason for going with a system that has a higher gross trailer weight capacity for your Travel Trailer is because of the tongue weight, which is the most important factor when choosing a weight distribution system.
